Our delicious Biscochito, originally brought to New Mexico by the early Spaniards, is a small anise flavored cookie that is sweet and buttery, light but crispy, and spiced just right with anise, cinnamon, and other spices. The biscochito, the official state cookie since 1989, was chosen to help maintain traditional home-baked cookery.
